Price Preference System Summary

 

The  Price Preference Summary is published by ITAC. This sets out the prices at which local consumers may pay scrap metal exporters for their material, prior to approval for export being granted by ITAC.

 

The scrap metal dealer (seller) may choose not to sell the material and may sell it onto another scrap metal dealer if they so wish. The seller may also withdraw their application for export, should the markets not be conducive to trade.
